Citrus aurantifolia
Benefits: Lime essential oil is used in aromatherapy to help relieve colds and cough as well as for symptomatic relief of acne and boils.
Recommended Use: Topical (Adults): Mix 1 to 5 drops in 1 teaspoon (5ml) of vegetable oil; apply locally 3 times a day. Inhalation (Respiratory syst.): Add 4 to 12 drops to a bowl of steaming hot water or a diffuser. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes.
