Organic honeybush
Numi introduced organic wild-harvested honeybush to the U.S. in 1999. Since then, locals have sustainably harvested this plant as a significant source of income for their communities. We selectively source from tea farms with conservation management plans, rather than from public lands, where overharvesting is a chronic problem. The honeybush plant is integral to the fynbos region of South Africa, which has one of the most diverse and rarified plant communities in the world.
